The 1st Radlett Scout Group (1RSG) is looking to expand by setting up a new section for younger children.
1RSG is hoping to open a Squirrel Drey group for children aged between four and six years old, and is asking for help in running it.
Jackie Glover, group lead volunteer at 1RSG, said: “To do this, we need a group of at least three adults to help, so we are seeking anyone with enthusiasm to support this age group to contact us.”
1RSG held a taster session for any children aged between four and six accompanied by a parent at 3pm on Saturday, November 30, to show more of what Scouting offers. This was held at their headquarters at Kent Lodge on Scrubbitts Park Road in Radlett.
The group currently has children aged between six and 14 years old in 1RSG’s Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop, and can add older children to their waiting list.
