A Radlett teenager has become an acting sensation, starring as the lead role in a new Hollywood TV show which premieres next month.
Jonah Collier, 13, from the village, plays the lead role in a new show Billy The Kid, which viewers can watch from April 24. The young actor is excited to show everyone what he spent two months working on in Canada last summer.
Jonah told RadlettNews: “I’ve always had a passion for performing. Since my mum’s an actor, it’s always been something that I had been wanting to do professionally. I was asking for some time to get an agent and my parents finally agreed a few years ago.
“There were so many great experiences on this production and things to take away from it. I was intrigued by how much work goes into creating a show like Billy the Kid behind the scenes, with vast sets, blue screens, wind and rain machines.
“I had a great time working and hanging out with many great actors as well as the Director, Otto Bathurst, who also directed Peaky Blinders.”
Anna-Marie, Jonah’s mum added: “I’m so immensely proud of him. It was a true joy to be on set with him and watch him come into his own as an actor.”
