A hit BBC drama has been spotted filming in a house in Bushey for its most recent series.
Film crews were spotted at Rectory Lane, opposite St James Church, from Friday February 16 to Monday 19.
Crew members told residents they were there for series six of the BBC crime drama, Strike, which follows a war veteran turned private detective as he and his assistant solve cases.
Strike is adapted from the detective novels written by J.K. Rowling under her alias Robert Galbraith and the latest series will be based on the sixth book, The Ink Black Heart.
The BBC recently confirmed filming has started by posting a photo of lead actors Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger with a clapperboard for the TV show.
Residents celebrated the news with one saying ‘so happy another series of Strike is being filmed in my village’ with another one saying ‘oh how exciting. Love that programme!’
