Hertsmere Police have arrested a man after approaching a young girl in Radlett.
Posting on Facebook, Hertsmere Police confirmed that a 50-year-old man was arrested after a teenage girl was approached on a road in Radlett on Tuesday, February 25.
Between 4.40pm and 4.50pm in Goodyers Avenue in Radlett, it is alleged that a man in a car approached a teenage girl.
The following day, on Wednesday, February 26, the man was arrested in connection with the incident. As Radlett News goes to print, the investigation and enquires are ongoing.
Inspector Rachael Robertson of the Hertsmere Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “I want to remind children to stay with their friends and if they get approached by a stranger to not engage with them and report it to police.”
