Staff and students at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood were celebrating this morning (Thursday) after another successful set of A Level results. Josephine Valentine, head teacher, said everyone was delighted with all that had been achieved and paid tribute to the staff and students. 65 per cent of students at the school achieved A* to B grades. Dr Valentine paid tribute to students and staff for their hard work. She commented: “I said to the students if you work hard, you will guarantee success. The teachers here go that extra mile and the students respond by working ferociously. When you add the results to the value added measure, the progress students make is fantastic. We’ve been in the top five per cent in the country for value added and it’s great when coupled with other achievements at this all ability comprehensive.” For more, pick up the next My Chorleywood & Loudwater News, out August 29
