One of the largest free UK jazz festivals is returning to Watford this summer.
The Big Jiveswing Festival, organised by Jiveswing.com and Watford Borough Council (WBC), will run its 11th event in Cassiobury Park on Sunday, July 28.
The award-winning park will host incredible acts from around the world, live cabaret, dance classes for all ages, dance displays, and vintage stalls.
Visitors can also enjoy food and drink vendors, as well as an area for children with rides, ice cream, popcorn and candy floss stalls.
Paul Stacey, WBC’s associate director of environment and communities, said: “Jiveswing gets bigger and better every year, and we know how much joy it brings to everyone who comes to experience the captivating acts and particularly to those who get involved.”
Jiveswing.com spokesperson Charlotte Middlemiss said: “We are so excited to be working with the council for the 11th year of organising the Jiveswing Festival. It’s been nice to see so many people from the local community and around the UK, coming together for this festival each year.”
