A shopfront on one of Croxley’s main streets has been left smashed to smithereens after a car accidentally drove into it.
The window for health and beauty clinic Skin Transform, based on New Road, was left utterly ruined after a blue van crashed into it.
The incident took place at 9:25am, Tuesday, September 27. Though the venue was open and police did attend, there were thankfully no injuries at the scene.
However, the shop’s window front was completely wrecked, with the floor covered in both small and large shards of glass, with other furniture also receiving some damage.
It is unknown what caused the vehicle to crash into the storefront, but it is believed to have been an accidental collision.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Police were called at 9.25am today (Tuesday 27 September) to a report of a damage only road traffic collision in Croxley Green.
“Officers attended and a blue Ford van had collided with a glass shop front on New Road.
“No injuries were reported.”
