Last month, proud mother-of-two and determined Abbots Langley business owner Lisa McCallum won an award for the second year in a row.
At the Best Businesswomen Awards on Friday, October 10, Lisa proudly took home the silver award for Best Customer Service once again for her business Lisa McCallum Travel Consultancy.
The awards celebrate the achievements of female-led businesses across several industries.
Speaking to ABBOTSnews, Lisa said: “Last year, I was honoured to receive a silver award. This year, I re-entered – striving for gold – and was delighted to win silver once again in the same category.
“It’s an incredible achievement and one I am really proud of.”
On top of the already impeccable accolade, a string of awards seemed to follow Lisa, as earlier this year, in September, the Business Networking Group Businesswomen Unltd, which Lisa runs the Hemel Hempstead group, won Silver for the Best Networking Group at the Herts SME Awards.
Not long after, she was named as a finalist in the Great British Business Awards in September, reaching the final four in the Best Solopreneur category.
Debbie Gilbert, founder and organiser of the Best Businesswomen Awards, said: “These awards were established to recognise and celebrate the women who are visionary leaders, who step forward with passion and determination.
“Our judging process is rigorous, and earning a place among our winners is a significant achievement.
“Each of our winners are incredible women who have demonstrated exceptional skill, innovation, and commitment to excellence.
“They truly embody what it means to be an outstanding entrepreneur.”
