Abbots Langley Players (ALP) have completed a run of their latest production with a rousing show that brought the house down.
From March 24 to 26 at the Henderson Hub, the cast of Annette Toms, Valerie Gale, Brian Hibberd and Vince McLoughlin charmed audiences with their performances in Quartet.
Directed by Jane Adams, the show tells the story of a group of former opera singers now living at a retirement home for musicians ahead of a gala concert at the home.
A spokesperson for the ALP said: “Congratulations to the cast, director and all the members of ALP who worked so hard behind the scenes to make Quartet a success. In their turn, the ALP wish to thank their loyal audiences who support them and without whom they would be redundant!”
The ALP are already looking ahead to their next performance, Tea with Mrs Pankhurst, which will take place at the Henderson Hub from July 13-15.
