Police are currently investigating following a report of a sexual assault in Berkhamsted.
The incident is alleged to have taken place in Butts Meadow, between 11pm and midnight on Friday, September 10.
The victim, a teenage female, is receiving support from specialist officers in the force’s Sexual Offence Investigation Team.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of rape and has been bailed while enquiries continue.
A police spokesperson told BerkhamstedNews the boy is still on bail and has not been charged.
