The Chorleywood-based charity Mission EmployAble is sharing the success of its annual Bluebell Walk.
On Sunday, May 4, and Monday, May 5, the community had access to the private ancient Crosslane Wood on Burtons Lane to enjoy the sea of bluebells that appear in the spring.
The purpose of the event was not just to enjoy nature, but also to raise money for Mission EmployAble and support its mission in offering skills training for young people with a learning disability.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “And that’s a wrap on two sensational days. Even though it was a little chilly, we managed to raise just under £7,000 for Mission EmployAble!
“Thank you to the whole team who helped out over the two days and thank you to all our lovely supporters – you have been amazing!”
