The Berkhamsted Rotary Club has teamed up with charity Open Door to hold the Young Photographer Competition Exhibition this month.
The exhibition will feature the winning entries from the 250 young photographers who entered the Young Photographer Competition.
Entrants were Dacorum youngsters between the ages of seven to 17 years old.
It’s taking place between May 17-29 at Open Door, 360-364 High Street.
The theme of the competition was ‘Wild Nature’, with judges looking for images “which portray the character, energy, beauty and fascination of the natural world”.
The free-to-enter regional competition was part of the wider National Rotary Youth Photography Competition.
Winners and highly commended entries in the three age categories (seven to 10, 11 to 13 and 14 to 17) have been forwarded to a Herts/Beds/Bucks District competition and, if successful, will go to the Rotary National final.
