Wearing an England shirt and a captain’s badge, Queens’ School student Amie seized her moment on the international stage and made her mark in women’s football.
Recently, after an intensive week attending the England U16 training camp, Amie proudly represented her country in a high-tempo match against the USA.
Despite the 2-1 score in America’s favour, Amie delivered a standout performance and displayed her skill, discipline and maturity.
The match showcased football of an excellent standard, and Amie made her community proud.
Mrs Marks, head of PE at Queens’ School, shared with BUSHEYnews: “Amie had a brilliant game, and the level of football was to an outstanding standard.
“Amie also had the opportunity to watch the Lionesses train during this week, and most recently she was a flag bearer and a ball girl for their game against China.”
