A Ruislip teen, along with presenter Matt Baker and the rest of his young team, took on The One Show’s Rickshaw Challenge virtually earlier this month.
Rosie, 19, and the other team members took on the challenge virtually this year due to COVID-19, but still managed to raise a remarkable £4,750,819 for Children in Need.
Despite having cerebral palsy, Rosie helped Matt and the team conquer an incredible 830 miles by riding on static bikes at home.
As in previous years, Matt and his team of youngsters who have overcome adversity were supposed to cycle across the countryside in November, but one of the team members testing positive for coronavirus on the opening day, forcing them to carry out alternative methods.
Rosie, who was diagnosed with her disability when she was just 11 months old, completed the challenge because she wanted to change people’s perception of disability and prove to herself that she could do it.
