Resident urges others to be wary after horse attack

Published on: 17th November 2015   |   By: The Newsdesk   |   Category:

A woman from Radlett is urging residents to take care after she and her husband were attacked by a herd of horses recently. Beata Green, and her husband Andy, were walking on a public footpath between Barnet Lane and Allum Lane on November 15 when the horses became aggressive. Mrs Green told My Radlett & Shenley News: “Myself and my husband were attacked as we were walking down the footpath close to Allum Lane. “We had our dog with us on a lead when suddenly five or six horses rushed over towards us, and one in particular was very angry. “The aggressive horse knocked my husband over and pinned him down. Fortunately he wasn’t hurt but it could have been really serious.” The field where the incident occurred is a popular spot for people walking dogs. Mrs Green added: “I don’t know if something like this has happened to anyone else but I would urge people to be very careful when walking past this particular field.” Have you been attacked by horses recently?
