Watford FC have one of the cheapest replica football shirts in the country, according to 888sport.
The betting company looked at the price of an adult home shirt for each team in Europe’s top five leagues: the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Serie A, as part of a study to find out replica shirt trends.
The Hornets’ latest strip was one of the cheapest in the Prem at £55, with only Burnley (£45), Brentford (£48), Norwich (£50), Crystal Palace (£50) and Brighton (£52) selling for less.
In comparison, La Liga giants Barcelona and Serie A outfit, Cagliari, charge a whopping £81.64 for their tops.
Out of all five leagues, Premier League teams as a whole charge the least for their jerseys on average (£58.09), while Ligue 1 charge the most (£70.38).
888sport also judged prices based on shirt manufacturers, showing that Le Coq Sportif charge the most at £73.05.
Watford’s kit manufacturers, Kelme, ranked 10th in the list of 15 with an average price of £61.29, so Watford are clearly being more generous than other clubs who have deals with the Spanish sportswear company.
