The residents of Croxley united in climate action at the village’s Big Green Fair.
Held at Croxley Green Community Club on Sunday, June 8, the event drew a strong turnout from local residents keen to learn more about sustainable living and support community-led climate action.
The free, family-friendly fair featured a vibrant mix of eco stalls, hands-on workshops, expert talks, and fun activities for all ages.
Visitors enjoyed upcycling sessions, free vegan food tasting, sustainable craft stalls, and talks on everything from solar panels to wildlife-friendly gardening.
Parish councillor Julia Bichard, who helped to organise the event, said: “It was fantastic to see the community come together with such enthusiasm and curiosity. The event showed just how many positive steps people are already taking — and how much more we can do when we work together. A huge thank you to everyone who took part or came along to support it.”
The fair underscored Croxley’s commitment to environmental responsibility and organisers shared their hopes that it will inspire further local action.
