Police investigating a theft in a store in Rickmansworth are releasing an image of a man they wish to speak to as part of the investigation. The incident occurred around 10.30am on Saturday, February 15 in the W H Smith store in Rickmansworth’s High Street. The offender removed an item from a display in the store and placed it in their pocket. The offender then left the store without paying for the product. Police wish to speak to the man pictured as it’s possible he witnessed the theft or has information that could assist the investigation. If anyone recognises the man, or if he recognises himself, they should contact the police straight away. Anyone with information is asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, citing crime reference C2/14/337. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
