Police hunt cake thief

Police have released a picture of a man they wish to speak to in connection with two thefts in Bushey. 

Between 9.38pm and 9.40pm on Monday, October 15, a man entered a McDonald’s restaurant in Tylers Way, North Western Avenue.

He walked over to the till area and removed a cake cabinet that was on the counter, and then left the restaurant with the cabinet and its contents.

A week later, a second theft occurred at the same McDonald’s restaurant between 10.53pm and 10.56pm on Tuesday, October 23. A cake cabinet was stolen and officers are linking the two thefts.  

Officers would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have information that could prove useful to the investigation.
