A dog walker was pushed to the floor after challenging of group of teenagers who set fire to a bin in Bushey.
Hertfordshire Police say the victim was seriously assaulted in the incident which took place at King George Recreation Ground in Bushey at 10.20pm on Wednesday, June 1.
The victim was assaulted after he told teenagers who had set light to a bin that he would be calling the police.
The dog walker was pushed to the floor before being punched several times and kicked once to the head.
He sustained cuts, grazes and swelling to his face but did not go to hospital instead treating the injuries himself at home.
