Darren Harrison, the Conservative Candidate for Tudor in the upcoming Watford Borough Council elections in May, invited the Conservative PCC for Hertfordshire David Lloyd to speak with local residents in the area about two recent domestic burglaries where thieves stole watches, rings, earrings and other jewellery.
Working together with Darren, Mr Lloyd said: “My Community Safety plan is putting victims at the heart of the criminal justice system. This area is still a very safe place to live; I want to continue to develop innovative ways to include partners, the community and voluntary sector in the delivery of policing. If Darren is elected on the 3rd of May, I look forward to working with him on some of the great local plans he has put forward to me on behalf of residents.”
Darren Harrison commented that: “It is fantastic to see David here today answering my request. Working together with the MP Richard Harrington and the County Council; we can ensure that local voices are heard.”
Mr Lloyd also used the occasion to support Conservative mayoral candidate George Jabbour’s campaign about CCTV cameras saying: “As George has repeatedly highlighted, better and more effective use of CCTV cameras helps catching offenders, tackling anti-social behaviour and reducing crime. I look forward to continuing working together with him and the rest of the Watford Conservative team.”
