An artist from Pinner is set to feature his artwork in a private members exhibition at a prestigious London gallery at the start of next year.
Michael Cahillane, who has been an artist for the last 30 years, will be hosting the exhibition at the Chelsea Arts Club in February.
Speaking to PinnerNews, Michael said he is very proud to be showcasing his work.
He said: “It’s a very prestigious club. Halfway through my life, I decided I wanted to focus on art when I realised that instead of a boring job, I wanted to do something I was good at and enjoyed.”
Michael added that he wishes there were more places to display professional artwork in Pinner and Harrow as a whole.
He said: “We have many talented artists and it would be great to have more opportunities to showcase their work. It will help inspire our young artists, as well as celebrating the art of our borough. It will be great to see more art spaces to showcase the great work being created in the local area.”
