Croxley Green Parish Council’s 9th Annual Charity Dog Show had to be held online this year.
Over seven days in early October, Croxley Green Parish Council posted different classes on Facebook for dog owners to upload pictures of their pets.
Classes included Best Dog, Best Puppy, Best Bitch, Best Veteran, Best Pair, Best Smile and Most Amusing Photo. A total of 248 photos were uploaded across all the classes and judging was carried out by local businesses in Croxley Green – Grocer on the Green, The Kitchen, Croxley Antiques, Corner Plaice, Anchor, Tap & Bottle, Crazy Tails and Made Just 4 You.
The Top 3 from each class were publicised in a daily post and rosettes were either collected from the Parish Council office or posted.
Congratulations to Hugo (12 years old Staffy Labrador cross) on winning Best Veteran and Best in Show.
Hugo’s owner Marion said: “He loves his rosette and trophy”
The Parish Council will be back with an event bigger and better event than before to mark the 10th Annual Charity Dog Show anniversary next year.
