A local teenage girl has been declared this year’s Miss Junior Teen Hertfordshire 2023 – and is now gearing up for the national finals.
Sadie Bentley, 15, from Great Gaddesden, beat hundreds of entrants from across the county to win the competition.
To enter, she had to impress the judges by submitting a photo of herself and a questionnaire, before proceeding to the tough interview stage.
She will now represent Hertfordshire at the annual Miss Teen Great Britain contest, which is set to take place on Sunday, October 15.
Sadie’s mother Regan has spoken proudly of her daughter’s achievement.
She said: “It’s so exciting. She’s so excited herself; she’s never done anything like this before.
“Sadie goes to Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and has always been amazing on stage. She wants to be a dancer when she gets older; she currently does ballet. She’d love to one day have her own studio.”
If Sadie wins, she will join a hall of fame that also includes former Miss Teen Great Britain Molly-Mae Hague, who has since gone on to achieve global stardom as a Love Island finalist.
