Following the recent government announcement, Atria Watford has welcomed the news confirming non-essential retail can reopen from Monday, April 12.
The majority of Atria Watford’s retailers are expected to reopen from this date with fashion brands showcasing their new spring and summer lines, beauty houses unveiling the latest must-have palettes and ideas for the perfect summer staycation.
Safety remains a top priority. Visitors to the centre will still be required to wear a face covering in all areas and are encouraged to use the hand sanitiser stations provided. Social distancing will be advised, and the number of shoppers permitted in the centre and in retailers will be limited.
Vicki Costello, centre director at Atria Watford, said: “We’re extremely excited to welcome back our shoppers and our retailers, we’ve missed them all so much.
“The first phase of reopening will see the majority of our retailers open and then we will work towards the next phase that will see leisure and indoor dining return.”
Over the past few months, Atria Watford has remained partially open for essential retailers, Click and Collect and eateries offering takeaway options. Throughout this period, the robust deep cleaning of the centre continued and will remain one of Atria Watford’s main priorities.
The centre opening hours will be: Monday to Saturday 9-6pm and Sunday 11-5pm.
