With coronavirus restrictions beginning to ease in April, the Abbots Langley Community Centre will be opening its doors again soon and will be welcoming a new group.
Annie Farr, who has more than 30 years’ experience working as an actor, a performing arts tutor and a presentation skills coach, will be running practical and fun weekly sessions during term time on Saturday afternoons at 2pm, once government guidelines allow.
They will be group sessions for 12-18 year olds and students will all work towards a LAMDA (acting) award.
The higher-grade awards in LAMDA help with UCAS points. Many of Annie’s former students have gone on to train professionally at Drama and Dance schools and Colleges across the UK.
As well as her work in Theatre, Annie has appeared in Holby City, Silent Witness, Doctors and in many TV comedies including Worst Week of My Life.
