Berkhamsted FC’s joint-managers Steve Bateman and Lee Bircham have left their positions at the club with immediate effect.
Steve Bateman took over at the Comrades back in January 2017, whilst Bircham joined him at the helm in the summer of 2019.
The pair took the club to the top of BetVictor Southern Central Division before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The club tweeted on Thursday night saying: “CLUB STATEMENT – Steve Bateman and Lee Bircham have decided to leave the club with immediate effect. We thank them and wish them both well for the future.”
Berkhamsted chairman Steve Davis also followed this with a tweet of his own to thank the pair for their time at the club, he said: “I would personally like to thank Steve and lee for their hard work for our club.
“We part on good terms and I with them well in their next venture. A full website article will follow in the next few days.”
