A man has been charged in connection with the supply of drugs after officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit stopped a vehicle in Hemel Hempstead.
The vehicle was stopped in Leverstock Green Road at around 9.40am on Sunday, May 19 and the driver was searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
A block of suspected cocaine was recovered.
- Derek Danso, aged 37, of Belsize Avenue in Peterborough, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a Class A drug. He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court on Monday (May 20) where he was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Luton Crown Court on Monday, June 17.
Inspector Jeff Scott from the Dacorum Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) said: “We are committed to tackling those who attempt to bring drugs into Hertfordshire and will relentlessly pursue those suspected of doing so.
