A resident from Woodland Manor Care Home in Chalfont St Peter has written his first book.
Having previously worked as a publisher, Bruce Marshall focused his career on other writers’ books, but has now created one of his own. What Did We Do Right? A Memoir is a summary of his amazing life experiences.
Posting on Facebook, the care home shared: “We are incredibly proud to announce that Bruce, one of our talented residents, has written his own book!
“You have done an amazing job and we are excited to celebrate this milestone with you.”
Since its publication, the book has caught the attention of many in the community, including Chalfont St Peter Community Library.
The library’s book buyer, Beth, reached out to Bruce and team at the care home, leading to Bruce kindly donating a copy of his book to the library.
The Chalfont St Peter Community Library shared on their Facebook: “A huge thank you to Bruce for sharing his work with all of us.
“We’re so lucky to have local talents like him who are willing to contribute to our vibrant community.
