After a two-year hiatus, the Kings Langley Village Lights Festival is back for the festive season.
For the last 30 years, the festival has been a fixture in the local calendar.
The festival will be returning on Saturday, November 26, with popular attractions including rides, stalls, shops, entertainment, fireworks, and the chance to meet Santa.
Gerry Angiolini, chair of the organising committee, said: “The Christmas Lights Festival gives everyone a fillip as the wintry weather starts to bite, and we are always delighted to see the High Street shops staying open into the evening and going that extra mile with mince pies, mulled wine and seasonal activities.
“There will also be the Atkins Award for the best Christmas-themed premises on the High Street – the winner will receive £50 to donate to a charity of their choice.
“In addition, there is the residential Christmas lights competition, for which the parish council is offering £75, £50 and £25 prizes. We are expecting a flood of top-class entries this year.”
The evening will conclude with a fireworks show in Green Park, and parish councillors will remove any rubbish left on the High Street.
