Met Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams (SNT) across Northwood, Ruislip and the wider Hillingdon borough have been busy conducting patrols in recent weeks.
The SNTs from Northwood, Ruislip Manor and Eastcote worked together to combat problems regarding illegal delivery drivers, immigration issues and unsafe driving.
On Wednesday, January 24, the three teams collaborated on an operation throughout South Ruislip, focused around the High Street and Mahlon Avenue.
As a result of this work, a man was arrested. He remains under investigation.
On Friday, January 26, the Ruislip SNT continued work on the High Street as part of a “joint intelligence-led operation”. Several arrests also relating to immigration were made.
Posting on social media, Ruislip SNT said: “We will continue to work with our partners to reduce unsafe driving on Ruislip High Street.”
