INTIMIDATING INCIDENT: Dog walker confronted and sworn at in Bushey

Published on: 23rd March 2020   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

Herts Police have released a photograph of a man who might be able to help their enquiries after a dog walker was confronted in Bushey.

The female victim was walking dogs in Merry Hill Fields off Merry Hill Road at around 1pm on Monday, March 16, when she was approached by a man.

He began shouting at the dogs to get out of his way and when the woman, a professional dog walker, tried to reassure him, he became increasingly verbally aggressive and swore at her before walking off in the direction of Oxhey village.

PC Callum Ellis said: “The offender invaded the victim’s personal space, intimidating her and being verbally aggressive. Understandably, she was left frightened and upset.

“We believe the man pictured was in the fields at the time and he could have important information that will help us with our investigation.

“If you recognise him or have information about the incident, please get in touch by calling 101 or email me at callum.ellis@herts.pnn.police.uk quoting crime reference 41/23551/20.”
