Former Bushey resident Eva Hewitt has been crowned a national winner in the Semi-Permanent Makeup Artist of the Year category at the UK Beauty Awards 2025.
Eva, founder of EH Permanent Makeup in St Albans, admits she was left completely stunned when the results were announced.
Speaking to BUSHEYnews, Eva said: “I honestly couldn’t believe it. To take first place nationally is just beyond anything I ever expected.
“It’s such a proud moment in my career, and my trophy has pride of place in my salon.”
Finalists for the UK Beauty Awards, which recognise beauty entrepreneurs across the country, were invited to a three-course meal and drinks.
Eva added: “The best part of my job will always be my clients; seeing their confidence grow means more to me than any trophy.
“This award is the icing on the cake, but it’s their trust and loyalty that inspire me every day.”
