Two Croxley-based Co-op stores have been raising money for several local initiatives as part of their recent charity payout.

Co-op members have been donating during their weekly shops at the stores on Watford Road and New Road, raising a grand total of £6,651 for three causes that will benefit the Croxley community.

The three local causes are Herts Musical Memories, which delivers singing sessions for people living with dementia and their carers; 9 Lives Furniture, an eco-friendly furniture charity; and Guideposts, which supports people and their families with learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia.

A major celebration to applaud the achievement was held on Saturday, November 18.

Sue Wonghen, Co-op member pioneer, told CROXLEYnews: “As the member pioneer for the Co-op Croxley stores, a big thank you to everyone for coming to our celebrations.

“And most importantly, a massive thank you to all the Co-op members who support our causes; none of this would be possible without you!”
