Patients are invited to share their views in a consultation that proposes a merger between Gade Surgery in Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Health Centre.
Shared to both surgeries’ websites, the proposal states: “The partners at Gade Surgery and Chorleywood Health Centre have been looking at how we can better serve our patients.
“We believe that working together as one larger organisation will strengthen our ability to maintain high-quality care for our patients. We will be able to invest in innovation and create a stable and sustainable GP practice by sharing the resources and expertise of both current practices.
“Over time, we aim to offer more services and greater access across Rickmansworth and Chorleywood including more GP and nursing appointments.”
The consultation is open until Wednesday, May 14, and the decision will take into consideration comments from patients. If approved, the merger will take place on Sunday, June 1.
