Radio Hillingdon is celebrating some of its longest-serving volunteers, recognising the incredible dedication that keeps the award-winning hospital and community radio station running.
Some of the station’s much-loved team members have been presented with Long Service Awards for their outstanding contributions to the station.
Dr Savi has reached five years of service, and Graham celebrated 10 years. Both Keith and Cliff, celebrated an extraordinary 55 years between them.
All of the volunteers have been instrumental in bringing music, laughter and companionship to patients, visitors and staff at Hillingdon Hospital, as well as the wider community.
Cliff marked 20 years of volunteering, while Keith celebrated an extraordinary 35 years of service.
A spokesperson for Radio Hillingdon said they were “immensely proud” of all their volunteers, highlighting that Radio Hillingdon relies entirely on the generosity and time of people like Cliff and Keith to continue its mission of supporting patients through the power of radio.
