Police are releasing images of two men they’d like to identify, following a report of a large disturbance in Harpenden just before midnight on Saturday, October 4.
It was reported that a number of people were involved in an incident outside The George pub on High Street.
Police are asking for members of the public to assist in identifying the two men pictured, who are believed to have been in the area at the time and may have information to support ongoing lines of enquiry.
St Albans District Neighbourhood Inspector Paul Caro said: “Despite an immediate response to the incident, the disturbance was over by the time officers arrived at the scene.
“I am appealing to anyone who may recognise these two men to report information to police.
“I understand the local community may be concerned about a video that is circulating on social media, and I want to reassure them that we are carrying out enquiries to identify those involved.
“If this is you or someone you know, please contact police quoting crime reference, 41/95049/25.”
