A Northwood youth netball league is celebrating another year of success.

Queens North Junior Netball League has been running out of Northwood College for Girls since it was formed in September 2022. The league provides weekly netball sessions on Sundays for approximately 260 girls.

A total of eight clubs and 32 teams took part in the league’s most recent season, which ran from September 2023 to March 2024.

The teams are mostly from Northwood, including the Eagles, Ninjas, MTN, RVL, New Life and Falcons.

But the league also attracts players from across London and Hertfordshire.

League chairman Andy Taylor said: “It has been another successful season for the league. Clubs, players and parents have helped build a great community of netball lovers.

“We are looking forward to the summer season where we have a record number of teams, highlighting the growing popularity of the sport.”
