Residents are being asked to “be part of what makes Croxley special” as the parish council shares that there has been a decline in volunteers.
From local groups to popular events like Croxley Revels and Croxfest, and even Scouts and Brownies, it’s not surprising that the village has a unique and vibrant community.
However, Croxley Green Parish Council (CGPC) is urging residents to offer a helping hand to support community initiatives.
Speaking to Croxley News, CGPC said: “We’ve noticed a steady decline in people coming forward to volunteer — and we understand why. Life today is busier than ever. Between juggling work, family, and everything in between, finding spare time can feel impossible.
“[Local community groups] often reach out to us looking for volunteers, and we’d love to build a list of residents who are happy to be contacted when opportunities come up.”
To register an interest in volunteering, please email info@croxleygreen-pc.gov.uk for more information.
