HELP OUT: Residents urged to get involved in initiative supporting vulnerable families in and around Watford

Published on: 22nd November 2022   |   By: News Bulletin   |   Category: Uncategorized

Fresh Ego FC will be, for the third year, facilitating their annual Community Giveback to provide essentials hampers, including full dinners and gifts to families from low-income, vulnerable, and at-risk families in the Watford and surrounding areas.

They are also delighted to be bringing two Watford CIC companies together and partnering with Clean Herts Community this year.

Last year through donations, they were able to give back to 125 families. This year they expect to be supporting more than 350 families.

This year will mark its founder Marvin Morgan’s one-year anniversary of his passing at just 38 years old. The goal is to keep not only his memory but his work and message alive.

With five weeks to go until the deliveries go out, Fresh Ego FC really need YOU, the community, to help support this year’s effort…specifically they are looking for donations of the following:

  1. Un-opened toys.
  2. Non-perishable food (please make sure in date).
  3. Toiletries.

Or, alternatively, you could donate to the GoFundMe page

Whatever you can spare, will make the world of difference to the families they are supporting.
