A Garston resident is heartbroken after her second cat went missing a year after the first.

Gemma Hamlet has been left devastated after another of her cats has gone missing.

She is offering a £200 reward for the safe return of Jaffy, who has gone missing on the one-year anniversary of the disappearance of her other cat, Bru, who has still not been found.

Jaffy has been missing since September 21, from Butterwick on the Meriden Estate, he is 12 and healthy. He is ginger with a lighter ginger underbelly. Jaffy also has the point missing on his front right tooth.

Speaking to GarstonNews, Gemma said: “My children and myself were and are still devastated, we have only just eased up the search for Bru. even though I always still look.

“Now we have another devastating blow, we have another cat and he has gone missing too.

“One week to the year anniversary and I’m having to go through all this search again. I have done everything within my power last time. My mental health has taken a knock, they are my babies.”
