As the days begin to lengthen and the first signs of spring appear, the Kings Langley Community Choir is already looking ahead to a lively and music-filled season.
With snowdrops blooming and green shoots pushing through the soil, the choir’s rehearsals are buzzing with fresh energy and a new repertoire.
Members are currently enjoying an upbeat mix of songs, drawing from an eclectic “selection box” of music by artists such as Labi Siffre and ABBA, alongside pop, gospel, folk, traditional and international favourites.
It is a programme designed to lift spirits and celebrate the joy of singing together.
One of the highlights of the spring calendar comes on Sunday, March 22, when the choir will perform in alongside the Harrow Apollo Male Choir as part of their 85th anniversary celebrations.
The Kings Langley Community Choir meets every Tuesday at 7.30pm at the Baptist Church in Kings Langley and warmly welcomes new singers of all abilities.
Anyone curious is invited to come along for a free taster session. More information can be found at www.kingslangleychoir.co.uk
