Local Hairdressing Salon Hair Tomorrow in Eastcote have raised £1,000 for local charity Michael Sobell Hospice based at Mount Vernon Hospital in Northwood at their Superhero charity event held last weekend.

Mikel Tabaku the Salon owner and his team dressed up as superheroes for the day and donated all of their wages and money raised for haircuts on the day to charity.

Michael Sobell Hospice was one of three charities to each receive a £1,000 donation.

£1,000 was also donated to Shooting Star Chase Children’s Hospice and The British Heart Foundation

Every year, Mikel personally raises money for charity by undertaking an activity or challenge. This year is slightly different, as the whole salon were involved.

Mikel said: “We think raising money for charity is a good thing for the community and brings people together in a fun way.”
