GROWING: YOUnique Minds awarded £1000 grant from Tesco

Published on: 21st July 2021   |   By: Amneet Kaur   |   Category: Uncategorized

A local charity is continuing to expand following a successful grant award of £1000 from Tesco’s “Bags of Help” scheme.

YOUnique Minds, a free mental health support and advice community created by Zoe Godden, is hoping to raise additional funds to host mental health support events.

The next step for YOUnique Minds is phase two of their Patron crowdfunding campaign, with the launch of the “£1 Challenge”.

The goal is to secure regular donations from generous Patron’s from as little as £1 per month, with various perks and rewards offered across various donation tiers.

Company director Jay Tee said: “A longer term goal is to create a dedicated space within Hemel Hempstead that offers a free, multi-faceted approach to mental health and wellbeing, as well as provide mental health workshops and lectures for young people in schools around the area.”

YOUnique Minds has been offering free, private mental health advice and support from a team of like-minded individuals since April 2020, through arranged phone calls, zoom chats, and walk and talks.

For more information, and to be a part of our community, please search “YOUnique Minds” on Facebook, and request to join the group.

Alternatively, if you’re in need of free, private mental health advice, please search “YOUnique Minds Support” on Facebook, and send a message.
