Officers from Pinner South and North Harrow have arrested two men as part of Sexual Violence Awareness Week.
The national week aims to raise awareness of sexual abuse and violence, providing an opportunity for organisations and individuals, such as the police, to engage in dialogue. This year, it took place from February 3 to 9.
Marking the start of the week, Pinner South and North Harrow officers arrested two males on Monday, February 3.
A spokesperson for Harrow MPS shared on social media: “After name checks were carried out, the first male was wanted on a prison recall for violent behaviour, so he was swiftly arrested and sent back to HMP.
“The second male had breached his Harrow Crown Court conditions and conveyed back to court. Great work by all involved.
“As part of our efforts to tackle this, officers from Harrow will be conducting arrest enquiries, uniform and plain clothes operations, and a number of local engagement events to raise awareness.”
