The Ruislip Rangers football tournament has come to a close, featuring an astonishing 278 teams across both gender groups.
It was held at Kings College Playing Fields in Ruislip on Saturday, May 31, and Sunday, June 1. Two girls’ teams even travelled from France to take part.
Speaking to Northwood & Ruislip News, a spokesperson for Ruislip Rangers said: “It was organised and staffed entirely by volunteers and was a really great weekend with great football played in great spirits.”
Players across 11 age groups took part in over 40 competitions. In total, around 1,400 players and 1,600 spectators attended the event.
The spokesperson added: “Across the weekend, eight Ruislip Rangers teams won trophies and a further 11 Ruislip Rangers teams reached finals.”
