Four teams from Kings Langley’s Twisted Cheer & Dance will compete in European and world championships in 2026.
Cheerleading is one of the UK’s fastest-growing sports. The upcoming competitions will feature teams performing two-and-a-half-minute routines of tumbling, stunting, jumps, and dance.
One of Twisted’s teams, Code Red, has won a bid to the World Championships in April 2026, held in Orlando, Florida.
Meanwhile, the three that progressed to the European Summit Championships were Notorious, Riot, and Reign. There, they will take part in a celebration of the achievements of teams from across Europe.
At the European summit, all teams will compete twice over two days: once on Saturday, June 20, 2026, and once on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
The results will be a combination of the teams’ Saturday and Sunday scores.
