GIVE YOUR VIEWS: Council asks for feedback on Bushey polling stations

Published on: 14th February 2022   |   By: Jake Levison   |   Category: Uncategorized

Hertsmere Borough Council is conducting a review of its polling stations in Bushey North, Bushey St James, Bushey Park, and is seeking residents’ views.

The review will help the council decide which polling districts and polling places – the building where people cast their vote – will be used in future elections to ensure those eligible to vote in the constituency have reasonable facilities for voting and, as far as possible, meet accessibility requirements.

HBC currently use around 50 different locations across the borough as polling stations, including village and church halls, schools and community centres.

The review focuses on eight polling places within Hertsmere that had a polling station change during the May 2021 elections. Changes to the polling stations were as a result of COVID-19 regulations at the time.

The consultation runs until April 1.

To find out more about the review or to submit your views by completing the online survey, visit: www.hertsmere.gov.uk/PSR

If you do not have access to the internet, please contact the council for a paper copy. Paper copies of the documentation supporting this consultation will also be available for inspection.
