A Union Jack floral bed was planted in Kings Langley ahead of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
This year, Parish Warden Paul Hier arranged the bedding plants in the flower beds at Great Park to be in the form of the Union Jack to commemorate the Jubilee.
Council Chairman Howard Button said: “As a parish council we are very proud of the public spaces for which we are responsible, and this year Paul has excelled himself with the display.”
“We are also celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee with a garden party in the Village Garden on Sunday June 5,” he added, “so what better than a floral celebration of her reign.”
During the Summer months in the village fresh flower beds are also planted in the village Garden, Rucklers Lane and for the planters in the High Street.
