A free festival for women and girls offering taster activity sessions is coming to Hertsmere this month.

We Move, She Moves programme has organised a festival that will give women and girls the opportunity to try out a whole host of activities, such as: bootcamp, yoga, bring your baby boxercise, Tai Chi and seated exercise, Golden Dance and family Xplorer Orienteering.

We Move, She Moves aims to get women and girls in Hertsmere more active, more often and having fun in the process.

The festival will take place on Sunday, July 17 from 12pm to 3pm at Borehamwood and Elstree Synagogue.

Councillor Meenal Sachdev, portfolio holder for community, leisure, health and wellbeing, said: “It is so important that girls can see their place in the fitness and sporting world.
“The festival is a great way to get a feel for the type of activity that might be right for you, or just a fun day out!

“There really is something for everyone at the This Girl Can Festival, so I hope we have lots of people come along to try something new.”

To try out the sessions, participants must be 16+, excluding the family Xplorer Orienteering.

All sessions are free and you can book them now to secure your place here.
